OUR BACKGROUND

Born as the result of the enterprising initiative and talent of the Rho brothers Franco and Mario, CAM today has gone from a family-run business to becoming one of the most important companies in the nursery sector. Set up in 1969 under the name of Constructions of Articles in Metal (hence the acronym CAM), the company was concerned mainly with the production of metal parts for nursery products like metal travel cots and rocking bases, depending on demand.

During the 70's and the 80's the production shifted to baby care products such as playpens, highchairs, changing units, baby walkers, travel cots, cradles, baby carriers. From 1985 they introduced in the range some products mainly used outdoors like

pushchairs and car seats, more visible to the final consumer and the company started to grow and to be known in the market. Nowadays the company is still growing thanks to the enthusiasm and ideas of the new generation at CAM:

a skilled and young team focused on R/D, production, sales and marketing.

50 YEARS YOUNG

In 2019 CAM LI MONDO DEL BAMBINO has celebrated 50 years of business. This is a significant goal that not every company can achieve.

THE COMPANY: HEADQUARTER

50 years from the beginning of the business, CAM is today one of the most successful companies thanks to its innovation, high quality and professionalism.

Today, the company is based in Grumello del Monte (Bg) and ti i sa strong and well-established reality with 50.000 mq of production facilities, 180 employees and several artisans that work exclusively for CAM, for a total of another 380 people.

CAM can count on its own internal depts to support the company in every way: R/D (engineers +industrial designers), design dept. (designers), graphic dept., marketing and communication dept., domestic and export sales depts, administration dept. and quality dept. (where we carry out tests on our products by overcoming what's requested by regulations, so to guarantee higher quality than market offer).

Year by year Cam collections keep developing and becoming more comprehensive. More and different products, more and different styles to satisfy all moms and dads' tastes.

More technology and safety, with homologated and tested items.

And last, the chance to choose among wide ranges at different price levels, so to satisfy every consumer.

Our collections are currently two:

the first one is the "CAM INTO MY WORLD" catalogue and

the second is "Solo per Te - Deluxe Collection" a range dedicated only

to specialized stores and which contains all the innovations of our Italian design.
